Confirmed dates and more details will be shared in our August Welcome Back Newsletter emailed the first Friday in August.

REGISTRATION

To schedule an appointment to register your child call Mary Stran at 734-416-6053 or email mary.stran@pccsk12.com.  Registration requirements and forms are available here.  Complete the pre-enrollment process prior to registration.

BACK TO SCHOOL CHECK-IN OPENS AUGUST 13TH

Beginning August 13, all returning P-CCS families must complete the Back-to-School Check-In process in MiStar Parent Connection. This annual process allows families to review and update emergency contacts, medical information, and other important student information. Your child's emergency card is generated from this information, so please ensure it is accurate and up to date.

To complete Back-to-School Check-In, log in to MiStar Parent Connection and select the Back-to-School Check-In link on the home screen.

Please Note:

• Families new to P-CCS do not need to complete this process. New families will receive MiStar Parent Connection login information from the district in mid-August.
• P-CCS will be using a new communication system this year, including text messaging. To receive text notifications for school closings, transportation updates, and important Isbister information, please make sure your phone number is listed as a cellular number in MiStar.

K MEET & GREET

TRANSPORTATION REGISTRATION OPENS DISTRICT DATE TBD

Is your child riding the bus this year?  Register your child(ren) who are eligible to receive district transportation prior to the first day of school. Elementary students who live more than 1 mile and secondary students who live more than 1.5 miles from their home school are eligible for district transportation. New families who completed district registration this year do not need to complete this step.

• Login to MIStar Parent Connection.
• Select the '26/27 Transportation Plans' in red > 'Review Now' for each child > select 'Yes, our student will need bus transportation' and Submit. See more detailed instructions here.
• If no selection is made, the selection will automatically default to NO, and your student(s) will not receive a bus route.
• You can register for transportation any time during the year. Allow up to 48 hours for change to be processed.
• Families will receive an email from Durham Transportation with bus routes by Friday, August 21st. If you do not receive this email, check MiStar Parent Connection.
• Sign up for the Durham Bus Tracker to view route information with a scheduled arrival time for each stop.
• If your child is riding the bus, we ask they start riding from the first day of school.  We spend the first days of school reviewing bus procedures and safety information. 

OPEN HOUSE

A more detailed communication regarding Open House will be emailed prior to the event. 

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL  

School Hours: 8:55 AM-4:01 PM, Half Day 8:55 AM-12:10 PM

First day procedures including Arrival and Dismissal will be emailed prior to the first day of school and available at Open House.
